A Girl and Her (er... Papa's) Duct Tape...

Don't let her fool you in her fancy dress...

She sure loves Papa's tool garage

And boy does she love that duct tape!

1st Camping Trip of the Year

We went up to Rocky Mountain National Park with some lovely friends, J and E. It was cold! But a good way to begin the new camping season. Joah and I (well, really everyone) really enjoyed tossing rocks onto the frozen sides of the stream banks
and making huge ice blocks break off and float away.
It's deeper than it looks!
During our walk to the stream, a coyote trotted past us within a few feet. After that, Joah was very aware of both real and imaginary wildlife and, while pointing to clefts in the rock wall, would say things like: "Look! That's where the mountain lion lives".
However, no real mountain lions were spotted.

Breaking down our trusty tent that kept us warm through the snowy night.

Please note that our Bengal tiger with speakers in the ears, quietly crooned
Bullfrogs & Butterflies songs late into the night, lulling Joah and Clara to sleep in the comfy down sleeping bags.

Thank you Erika for documenting our trip!

Boarding!

Corb and I LOVE to go boarding. But we're not so good at documenting our times on the mountains. These pics aren't great but at least they will help us remember the cold when we are sweltering this summer!

At the top of Spaulding Bowl. It was cold!!!

On the way home! Happy!
